Western Vocational Services, Inc. (WVS) is committed to providing quality vocational rehabilitation services in the midwest.
We believe competitive employment is an integral part of a person's life. People who experience barriers to employment occasionally need a professional to assist in entering the labor market. We are familiar with systems that routinely interface with employment and will assist our clients in working within the guidelines of such systems.
WVS is a private, family-owned vocational rehabilitation company providing quality services throughout the midwest. As president, I believe all persons should be afforded the opportunity to become contributing members in their community. The goal of WVS is to provide meaningful support services, thereby leveling the playing field so that whatever barriers to employment exist to our clients, they may maximize their potential. I am particularly proud of the individualized services that we have provided in the past and I offer my promise that we will meet the challenge any time anyone says, "That will never work!"
Marc S. Hultine, President, WVS
WVS began in 1991 as direct provider of vocational rehabilitation to workers that were injured as a result of an occupational injury or illness in the Nebraska Workers' Compensation System.
Expanding quickly into such areas as vocational education, services to veterans with disabilities, and career counseling, WVS soon became a major provider of traditional services in the mid-Nebraska region. Beginning in 1995, WVS began a period of extensive and innovative direct client services which included job coaching, community-based assessments, and on-site evaluations.
We believe in the importance of reality-based assessments to enhance both the rewards and demands of real work. WVS anticipates that in the future the innovations that have identified us as the premier provider of specialized assessment and placement in the past will continue to be our inspiration in the future. We are proud of our heritage both in terms of the dignity we have provided our clients and the quality of services we have provided our customers.
The dedication of our highly-specialized staff will assure WVS' role in the ever-changing environment of the vocational rehabilitation sector. With services throughout greater Nebraska and an eye on continued expansion, we feel that WVS can provide you with the support necessary to achieve your goals.
